Alternate palette product displays. The digital colouring process in Photoshop allows for quick iterative changes to hue, saturation and value without the need to repaint the artwork. I found this process helpful as it quickly provides diverse visual variants to find the right mood and palette.
It begin the development process, I started by thumb-nailing ideas based on a Japanese ghost story, ‘The Rattling Bridge’ due to it’s interesting setting. The thumbnails are character focused silhouette studies based on Japanese Ghost stories such ‘The Yurei of the Blind Female Musician’ and ‘The Vengeful Ghosts of the Heike Clan’.
