Andrew Crotty is an Assistant Lecturer on the BSc. (Hons) in Digital Animation Production at LIT Clonmel, Tipperary, Ireland.
He has previous experience as a director, designer and animation director with such animation studios as Monster Entertainment and Brown Bag Films based in Dublin, Ireland and has worked on a variety of projects including Commercials, TV series and Short Films.

As an Independent content Creator, he is currently in development of a number of multi-platform original properties for the children’s market. He also has experience working as part of a development team as an Art Director and Character Designer.
He is an Alumni of Animation Mentor, having graduated from their Advanced Character Animation program, where he was mentored by industry professionals from Pixar, DreamWorks, Disney and Blue Sky Studio’s.
He holds a Bachelor of Design Higher Degree in Interactive Media where he gained expertise in conceptual design for multi – platforms such as Interactive TV, Web and Mobile Content and a Degree in Communications (Animation) from the Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art Design and Technology.
